I have not taken a shower with the watch yet (I don't even shower with my Casio on), but I was curious how the speaker module could stay dry with the holes.
I decided to see if I could get the cover off.
Here it is with the cover on:
To my surprise, when the cover is removed there is a black layer covering the opening.
This looks like the same material as I discovered over the microphone opening on the opposite side. This explains how they prevent water from getting into the actual speaker.
